About Michelle
Michelle Kobryn is a fine artist whose original paintings bring timeless beauty and quiet moments of joy into the homes of collectors across the country. Inspired by the elegance of traditional painting styles and techniques, her work captures the intricate details and vibrant textures of the natural world—from the delicate curves of a porcelain bowl to the brilliant pop of sunlit lemons. Michelle’s paintings invite viewers to pause, notice, and celebrate the small, often-overlooked wonders of everyday life.
A lifelong art lover, Michelle studied Art History and Fine Art at The George Washington University, where she developed a deep appreciation for both the history and the craft of painting. She continued her studies with an MA in Museum Studies, specializing in Collections Management and American History, which further shaped her understanding of art, preservation, and storytelling through objects.
Michelle lives in Raleigh, North Carolina, with her husband and two children, where she balances studio life with family life, finding inspiration in both her surroundings and the ordinary moments that often go unnoticed. Her work reflects a blend of careful study, technical skill, and a heartfelt desire to capture the beauty that exists in the everyday.
